Karl Lagerfeld – a German fashion designer living in France in an interview in 1975. According to Lagerfeld, beauty is an idea, something expensive, something that not everyone can afford. The confident designer explains, however, that he not only sells covers and beauty. He sells much more than that. He sells freedom. Anyone who wears his collection will feel free.

His recipe for success is the absence of analysis because analysis would endanger the necessary spontaneity and creativity. If the basis for fashion was analysis, everyone could be a successful fashion designer.
