When the Little Sandman (Unser Sandmaennchen) was first shown on German Televison Broadcasting on 22.11.1959, no one suspected that it will be the most durable children´s TV programme in Germany. For generations of children, the Little Sandman was and is a daily ritual: He always comes at the same time, brings a bedtime story (evening greeting) and sends the children with a pinch of dream sand into the land of dreams.
In this episode, the Little Sandman visits children on the beach.
